An increasing number of website and business owners are turning toward a new approach to advertising and, best of all, its free. Article marketing, as it is technically known among webmasters, is achieved by translating expertise into a written article and effectively promoting it across the web. This can be achieved by the use of blogs, content directories and direct agreements with webmasters to publish your article in exchange for a link back to your website.
Article marketing is somewhat new in its technique, but is very effective if done properly. Free publicity is achieved as the article circulates more and more across the web. If you post your article to content directories, other webmasters may pick up your article and post it to their website with the only requirement being proper credit for the work. At the end of the article, the authors name is shown, along with their business name and a direct link to their website. As the work circulates onto new sites, more customers will have the opportunity to read the article. If it is interesting and successfully grabs their attention, they will be likely to visit your site in search of more information.
The key to successful article marketing and free publicity for your website is to possess a certain amount of knowledge about your subject. Your expertise will show through in the work that you do and will entice others to want to read more. By sharing what you know with others, customers will respect you and appreciate your willingness to help. For instance, if you operate a home improvement website, perhaps you would write an article detailing some home improvement tips. Try to avoid the commonly known hints and direct your article toward lesser known tips. If you share the rare information that you know, and it works, customers will be so happy with the new tips that they have learned and your business will be given instant credentials in their mind.
The best part of article marketing is the fact that it is free and it generates free publicity for your website. Once you get a new website up and running, you will still have to find a way to spread the word about your new venture. By enlisting the article marketing technique, you will be saving a lot of money on advertising costs. Print publications and other conventional advertising methods can end up costing a bundle of cash and, since many new businesses struggle just to stay afloat in the beginning, its a good idea to save as much as you can.
A final thought about article marketing and free publicity for your website is to make sure that your articles are informative, thought provoking and rich in keywords relating to the topic of your website or service. The articles should reflect your website or service in some way and should always be relevant to the product that you are selling.
Article Marketing & Free Publicity For Your Website
May 31st, 2011How To Make A Fortune Welding
May 31st, 2011How here would like to earn more money? Sure wouldn’t we all, but I just don’t have the time or energy to work more hours.
That’s what all welders are saying, and no doubt since you’re reading this article you’re probably one of them.
See the challenge is that there are only so many hours in a day, and currently you’re trading your hour for dollars instead of finding a more effective way of creating more money while working less hours. And we’d all like to work less and make more wouldn’t we/
So here’s how you can start working less hours and making more money.
First off, you’re going to look at how you can leverage time, money, and energy…the only 3 spendable resources.
A simple way is going to your boss and saying “I’ve got a way for you to increase profits and business” I’m sure they’ll pay attention to that…who wouldn’t want to increase the amount of money they’re making.
And then say…”If I can bring in more business, will you give me a percent of the profits? This gives me an incentive to find more work for us.”
If they say yes, you’re on…if they say no, then start your own company.
And I’m sure the first thing you’re going to do is run out and buy some radio advertising time or run a three color brochure or spending money in some other way to attempt to get more business.
Don’t Do That!
I’m going to show you how you can do it without spending a single dime.
You’re customers are happy with what you do for them right? If not you should do a better job so they are.
And when you’re finished with the job you can say something like “How’s that look?” they say it looks great…then you tell them the benefit of what it will do “That will keep the structure from collapsing in on itself. You really caught this in time” Then they say “Yeah I guess I sure did, thank you so much”
Then you say “I’m glad I could help you, and since I did such a good job for you, I’d like to do the same quality work for other people that you know. Who do you know that you can give me a reccomendation or referral to?”
Right there you have gotten consent to get a reccomendation from this person to other people he knows. You’re getting leads for new business with no lead cost.
And you can even add incentive for referrals by knocking a few bucks off your price for each referral given.
Now some of you may have cringed at that last statement “I don’t want to give away money” but the fact is that it’s an investment.
Will all of the referrals turn up winners, no of course not…but some will…and the fee they pay you will cover the bucks you knocked off the last guy and net you more business without the cost of aquiring the lead.
That way, you can increase business without any money…AND you increase your profits without having to work longer.
Hope you put this referral generating system to work for you as sonn as possible.
Developing Your Own Pitch
May 30th, 2011If you have surfed any of the exchanges for credits, you have seen them; countless affiliate web pages for all the different programs available.
When you decide to sign-up for a money-making affiliate program, you are usually given one or more web pages to promote that program. These affiliate pages usually have your member ID embedded into them, so that whenever someone signs-up, using that page, you get the credit for that referral. Then you take the URL for your page or pages and start advertising with them.
Sounds easy, right? It is. The only problem is that all these affiliate web pages look exactly alike, and you have to figure, that if youve signed-up with a program that has been around for any length of time, there has got to be thousands and thousands of affiliate pages that look just like yours!
And what do we generally do, when we see these pages? We say Oh, that again.
Click; off to the next one.
What makes us stop and take a look? Something unique. Perhaps we even sign-up for it this time, even though its for a program we have seen a hundred times in other places.
Why? Maybe because this time we found out something about it we didnt know before.
Maybe because we never bothered to read anything about before in all those countless look-alike affiliate pages we had been bombarded with before.
Its not hard to create your own pages and put your own affiliate links in them. Tell people about your own experiences with the program you are advertising, like how its changed your internet marketing career for the better, or how easy it is to get sign-ups.
Its not a bad idea to give something away free, as an incentive for folks to take a closer look at what you have to offer. Set-up an auto responder that will send them the link to your freebie as well as your advertisement.
Its also a good idea to set-up your own domain name, since search engines tend to drop-off information after the main domain name of the program you are advertising and that means your affiliate information will be lost. Also people who see your ad, either on-line or off will also just tend to enter the name for the domain and not your affiliate information. That means you will loose sale made through your advertising efforts!
I recommend SendFree as an auto responder, as they give you a code to put on your web pages that creates a box where people can sign-up directly to your autoresponder; http://www.sendfree.com/affref/77996/
If you are involved with internet marketing, free giveaways are pretty easy to collect. Try to give away something useful that has something to do with what you are selling or will be helpful with a persons marketing efforts and not just the same E-books you see time and time again.

Need Ezine Content – Think Holidays
May 30th, 2011Publishing an ezine certainly has its benefits and rewards, but even the most prolific publishers often need more content ideas, topics and graphics.
One of the best resources for newsletter and ezine publishers is holidays; they are a true gift because they can provide an overall theme, a topic, graphics, as well as content. They can add a little spice to your usual, consistent branded newsletter. The best part is that most of the holiday content is free, and it doesnt have to be in your industry or on your specific newsletter topic.
There are countless holidays to choose from, with varying lengths- Mothers Day, Book Week, American Heart Month.
A common holiday theme is Halloween, which many publishers use as an excuse to add a fun graphic to their ezine. Its an easy one because Halloween images exist in most clip art collections, many can be found online for free as well as for purchase; custom graphics are always an option. Halloween is a fun holiday that brings out the kid in all of us, and is universal enough that no one would question its appearance in an ezine on almost any subject.
Stepping out of the box, when it comes to use of a holiday theme, American Heart Month provides a good example. This holiday is an obvious choice for a fitness trainer or nutritionist, but can be a great topic for other businesses like an accounting firm.
A few ways in which our sample holiday can provide newsletter content:
Graphics: a heart association logo*; a heart shape; a heartbeat image
Themes/topics: healthy heart/lifestyle, recognizing symptoms of heart problems
Tips: diet, exercise/ lifestyle, checkups, recipes
Public Service: Raise awareness, learn cpr, donate
A business like our accounting firm can provide a public service announcement and they can customize the information to their expertise by providing answers to the following questions:
If you join a health club, is that a tax-deductible expense? A nutritionist? Is installing a gym on site for your employees tax deductible? Did you know improving your health can translate to lower premiums on life insurance?
Questions like these can also be formatted into tips, which can then be offered to other publishers as content, increasing their exposure and further establishing themselves as experts. Cant find a holiday to suit your business goals? Create one! All you need to do is come up with a theme and a name, and declare it! Who knows, maybe one day Hallmark will immortalize it with a line of cards to send out for your holiday. In any event, have fun and keep those ezines full of celebrations and great content.
Everyone loves an excuse to celebrate so why not be the inviter; the business that follows is an added benefit to the good will you inspire.

The Potential of Print on Demand Technology
May 29th, 2011As a book author, have you ever experience needing to print a hundred copies of your book in just a few days? Have you ever felt the stress and anxiety of finding a printing company that will do the print for you in such a short time yet at an affordable price? Most authors have probably experienced this. In the past, where modern technologies were not yet available finding the right printing company is stressful already. Added to that stress is finding a print shop who will not charge you more than what you can afford. But thanks to the knowledge and experience of some experts and they are created technologies that can allow fast turnaround of print jobs at affordable prices.
Have you heard of Print on Demand, POD for short? Well, POD is basically a digital printing technology that lets you print a book or magazine and bound it in just a few minutes. The concept behind POD is that the ink is laid to a paper that allows words and images to be printed with amazing speed. This printing technique makes it easy and cost effective to produce books from one copy to thousands of copies. Once everything is ready, your book can be printed on demand. This means that if someone wants your book, they just have to pay for them and they will be printed a copy. Also, if you want a copy of your book you have to pay for it but you receive a royalty on all other orders.
A carefully produced POD book can have a quality almost the same from its offset counterpart. An average reader wont be able to tell the difference and know whether the book that they are reading was produced by the offset process or POD technology. Nevertheless, there are still publishers and authors who dont make use of the benefits of POD and continue to avail of the printing process they are familiar with. This probably because with POD the promotion of your book falls on the authors shoulder compared to traditional publishing method. The book must be strongly marketed because bookstores would rarely stock them or even offer signings with their authors. People want to read good books, but the marketing tactic must be effective to make the readers aware that the books are available for them to read and buy. Additionally, there are some industry analysts and readers who do not settle for books that are not published in the usual sense. For this reason they do not patronize POD produced books. This problem is also shared by electronic books that dont include physical copies at all.
But despite the drawbacks of POB publishing, it must still be noted that this publishing technique has functions and features that are not available with traditional publishing. And it must be understood that POD publishing should be judged based not on the technology it uses but on the effort they make in order to produce books that booklovers want to read.
Selecting Good Stock Photography in the Age of Digital
May 29th, 2011The business of stock photography has drastically changed over the last few years. Ten years ago, selecting photographs for your brochure or newsletter meant spending hours pouring over stock photography catalogs and ordering photo research to find the exact image. When the order came in a giant overnight package, designers would spread transparencies out on the light table, squinting through a magnifying loop to check every detail.
Enter the digital age.
High speed Internet connections. CDs. Searchable Archives. Royalty-free stock. These elements have changed the face of communication design forever. The quality, quantity, affordability and accessibility of stock imagery have made it the resource of choice for many organizations.
The advantages of instantaneous access to searchable archives of good images are numerous.
Speed :: We can never have enough of it. Search. Download. Import. Its remarkable.
Choice :: Searching “stock photography” on Google delivers 1,470,000 results. You can find pretty much anything out there.
Price :: While there are free resources, unless you are doing a school report, you may need something slightly more exclusive. Also, many of the free images are only good enough for online display and the selection is very limited. Royalty-free images are reasonably priced, you pay for only the size youll use and images can be used as needed with no extra charges.
Flexibility :: Image selections can be grouped, saved and emailed to others in the review cycle. People in different locations can simultaneously review ideas.
Archiving :: Some companies even keep a record of your buys that you can re-download whenever you need them. To use this resource effectively, there are a few things you need to keep in mind.
Plan ahead :: Will you ever need the picture to be printed? The low cost of “low resolution” images can lure you into costly mistakes. Images need to be 300 dpi (dots per inch) at the size they will be printed.
Low-cost tradeoff :: Pictures are now so affordable, everyones buying them. That means your image could show up in your competitors brochure. Some projects call for more exclusive imagery.
Image-enhancement :: When you need something totally unique, such as your product in the shot, it may be more economical to hire a photographer than to have your designer spend countless hours in Photoshop trying to get it just right.
Availability :: Good images still cost money. While many firms have images on file, dont expect your designer to have a database full of images right for your project.
When searching on the web, search for “stock photography” rather than doing an image search in Google or another search engine. Google returns all images from the web — including those that are the property of others and not legally usable.

Farm Expired Listings For Big Commissions
May 28th, 2011Many real estate agents begin and sometimes sadly end their careers without a plan. And as the saying goes, failing to plan is as good as planning to fail. ]
Sure, some do the usual and expected things to cultivate new business, like mailing letters and post cards to friends and relatives, phoning acquaintances, and giving out business cards to any and everybody they meet.
Heck, some are courageous enough to “cold call” prospects, the most dreaded of all tasks! And while all of these activities are good things to do, they don’t necessarily translate into new business opportunities – now or later!
And while these may be good strategies you need more. But instead of working harder why not work smarter?
The most successful Realtors and Real Estate Agents have “lead generating systems.” Some Farm Expired Listings for huge profits.
A good listing system can:
jump start new or average real estate sales career
bring in real estate listings on a regular basis; week after week
generate prospective buyers and sellers
give you marketing exposure in months rather than years
position you to know the best real estate investment buys
Personally, I love Expired Listing Systems and their laser beam like focus on warm, responsive sellers. Sellers that are typically still Realtor friendly, eager to sell and will do what it takes to get their properties sold.
Owners of expired listings are motivated for many reasons; double mortgages, vacant properties, terrible tenants, recently married and combining households, recently divorced and liquidating real estate assets, and on and on.
Plus, they have gone through a listing cycle and may be anxious to get on with their lives. But, as you know, or will soon learn, all listings aren’t worth having.
As for me, I initially listed every property that I could; vacant land, single family homes, condo’s, triplexes, mobile home parks, mobile homes, homes in top notch condition, fixer uppers, whatever.
And I got to feeling pretty darn good (and just a little smug) as my listing portfolio grew to more listings than I could manage.
So, I first hired a part time clerk/assistant to help me market my listings, then took on a newly licensed salesperson as a partner and split the listing fees 50/50. Pretty soon my listing system was humming and I was averaging 1-2 listings a week.
I then had an army of agents working for me day and night, as almost all of my listings were in the Multiple Listing System. Working to get me paid, even when I was chaperoning field trips, getting a haircut, or just taking a day off!
That’s what a good real estate listing system can do for you!
So, if you don’t have a good listing system you should get one. After all, if real estate listings are the lifeblood of the industry then how successful can you be without them?
Becoming a Graphic Designer
May 27th, 2011You were doing your grocery one day in one of the largest shopping mall in town. You noticed that when buying soaps, toothpaste and canned goods among others, you were picking up those products that has packaging and logo design that appeals to your eye. And the lady next to you was doing the same. Then you wondered what made these products appealing and saleable to consumers. And your thoughts wondered onto who were responsible for doing these attention-grabbing and money-making packaging designs.
Basically, the person responsible for making a logo or packaging design look superb and marketable is called a graphic designer. They are the ones responsible for attracting potential customers and increasing a companys sale. In order to be a successful graphic designer, one must have excellent interpersonal skills and the knack to sell their ideas to executives.
If you wish to be a graphic designer you must be prepared to receive a college degree in advertising or fine arts focusing in graphic art and computer graphics. Although there are some who make it to the industry just by talent alone, most still need a degree or some sort of certificate to land a job as a graphic designer. Employers wont even look at you if you lack the piece of paper that shows that you have been trained in graphic design related program. In addition, much of your competition would be graduates from college so it is better if you come prepared before plunging into the exciting world of graphic designs.
There many schools across America that offers graphic design related courses. There are courses in visual communication, graphic design, animation, advertising, and multimedia and web development among others. There are short term and long term programs offered in different schools. Short term programs are usually for one or two years while long term programs such as Bachelor of Fine Arts degree are often for three to four years. Nevertheless, both these programs offer a work placement in a business or studio during or after your studies. This can be a stepping stone for you in gaining the experience that you need to get hired.
To improve your experience in graphic designs, you can also do freelance work whenever you can. This will help you have a solid portfolio to present to your prospective employer when you get out of school and hunt for a real job. Likewise, you have to pay attention to the packaging designs and advertising trends in all forms of media to keep you updated with what is the latest in the industry.
Remember that being a graphic designer necessitates you to learn new software and be up to date on design trends constantly. There is more to being a graphic designer than sitting in front of the computer. Thus, you need to learn how to speak efficiently and learn how advertising and PR influence design decisions.
Make More Money In Affiliate Marketing
May 26th, 2011Affiliate marketing benefits both the online business and the affiliate. With affiliate marketing, an online business will have an increase in traffic on the website, and, consequently, generate more sales. With affiliate marketing, an affiliate can earn money just by referring visitors to the website of the online business. Each client visit is converted to an agreed amount for the affiliate. But, does this happen often?
Some affiliates who have been involved in affiliate marketing may answer that the conversion of visits to money does not happen often enough. Are there too many affiliates already? Of course not. The cyberspace has a limitless supply of clients and their numberss are growing every second. There could never be too many affiliates. But there are methods in which one affiliate can earn more money than his counterparts.
These methods have been proven time and again by affiliate marketing experts. Thus, an affiliate must plan to carry out these suggestions so that his income will greatly increase.
1. Study Search Engine Optimization
The target clients of affiliates are those that get inside cyberspace and surf the Internet to find information and products. These target clients can easily do the surfing and the searching by using Search Engines. Therefore, the affiliate’s website should find its way in the first results page of a Search Engine.
The job now of the affiliate is to find out how to have his website listed and ranked high by Search Engines and Directories. This is why the affiliate should study search engine optimization.
2. Have Good Content
Affiliate marketing is not just about selling products or services. It is also providing useful information to the target clients. Thus, the affiliate must make sure that the articles found in his website should be information-laden.
If the target clients finds the website useful, they will return to the affiliates website again and again, until they are convinced enough to proceed to the website of the online business. But if the client finds the affiliates website is all flash and no substance, they will immediately find another and better website.
3. Promote More Than One Product
A client likes to be given choices. Thus, the affiliate should respond to this need of clients. The website of the affiliate should be offering options to the client. Each option will be described in terms of advantages and disadvantages. When options are given, convincing the client to patronize a certain product or service becomes easier.
4. Give Away Free Products
The wise affiliate should build loyalty from clients by offering freebies. Such freebies may only be information that can be downloaded by the clients.
With all the above suggestions being kept in the mind by the affiliate, his business of marketing will give him greater returns.
